“Type The Sky” by Lisa Rienermann

Although creative designer Lisa Rienermann’s “Type the Sky” project is from 2007, I heard about it today. So, I thought I should share it with you guys too because it is a perfect combo of urban landscapes, typography and photography. 😀

“Type the Sky” is a photo series of buildings resembling alphabet that captures typography found in urban landscape by simply looking up. She used buildings as borders for each letter and captured 26 remarkable photographic examples.  It was awarded by the Type Directors Club New York and was uses by the car manufacturers Mercedes and Renault for their advertising-campaigns. 🙂
